Gallery-Szent István Dive Expeditions

The following images were provided courtesy of Drazen Goricki, a diver from Croatia who dove to the Szent István in 2008 and dove again in 2017 with the Ministry of Culture. They dove to prepare the wreck for installation of the memory plaque to be placed in 2018 (100th anniversary of the sinking). Andrew Wilkie collaborated with Drazen and his dive team by providing the 3D model and images of the Szent István. As a kind gesture, Drazen provided Andrew with sand from underneath the 305mm/12" gun turrets as shown below. Today the sand is proudly displayed in Andrew's home!
